Our saunas are not designed to be the cheapest - they’re designed to be the best - and to provide the best value for your money.

While the rest of the competition are making saunas from 2x6 material, at Ennadai we use only premium 4x6 Western Red Cedar. These are the distinct advantages:

2.5x the R-value – so your heating bills are much lower, and you can operate the sauna in any Canadian winter temperature

Thermal mass – the walls heat up slowly and cool down slowly. This means you don’t get extreme temperature swings. Even if someone holds the door open for a few minutes, the walls retain an enormous amount of heat. So, it stays feeling warm and is back up at air temperature almost immediately.

Sound attenuation – sitting in one of these saunas is much more calming as it blocks significantly more noise from outside, and creates an acoustical environment that absorbs and dulls any interior sounds. No echoes or sharp noises.

Longevity – these saunas will last longer than the average house. Cedar is naturally rot-resistant, we have generous overhangs, and a 4” solid wood buildup that will not shift or warp over time.

Our heat source placement, roof angle, bench placement, and vent placement are all designed together to create a sauna with a predictable and reasonable thermal gradient, with an appropriate amount of (hot) fresh air. No cold spots. No drafts. No light headed feeling caused by stale air.

Our demonstration kit operates comfortably at 90 deg C at -5C outside with zero melting effect on the roof. More efficient on your heating bill, and more comfortable inside. With straight walls, high benches and plenty of headroom, our saunas are more comfortable and more spacious than our competitors.

We boast 72 cubic feet of volume per bather- that means when you buy a four person sauna, four people can actually fit comfortably in it.

Our flagship model, the Polar Star, comes with an integrated vestibule and exterior door that features heavy duty, Canadian made, spring loaded hinges. The result? A warm space to towel off, change, or leave your boots, with no icy cold draughts of air in the bathing area.
